Whenever we can, we realize where we are. Just 500 meters from the historic district of Mutriku, declared a monumental complex in 1995, our accommodation is located in one of the oldest municipalities in Gipuzkoa. Strolling along the streets of the old town of Mutriku, which still maintain the original rugged route, you will be able to see the manor houses and palaces between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries, some of the so-called historical and artistic monuments. There is still a small part of the original wall of Mutriku, most of which was destroyed in the eighteenth century. The forced stop is the church of Our Lady of the Assumption. The Arrietakua Palace is in the old town. Visit this jewel of Mutriku's historical heritage that will allow you to know the maritime history of the Basque Coast. The palace dates back to the eighteenth century and has been preserved to this day.

Enjoy nature and history in the monumental ensemble of Astigarribia. A small neighborhood that was once one of the most important points of the Way of Santiago in the north. Today the church of St. Andrew and the surrounding houses and tower houses are preserved. The temple is mentioned for the first time in a document dated 1081. The tourist office offers guided tours.

This is the Geopark of the Basque Coast that we enjoy in Mutriku, like the neighbors of Deba and Zumaia. It is a natural environment within the UNESCO recognized European Network and the Global Network of Geoparks, with more than 60 million years of history.

Black Flysch has a unique landscape in which the protagonist is auntetic. The formation of rock layers stretches over 13 kilometers of cliffs formed 110 million years ago. A large collection of fossils has been found at the Nautilus Geological Interpretation Centre in Mutriku. For the coastline of Mutriku, about four miles long, is of wild beauty. We have several beaches marked by the nature of the rocks and cliffs of the Flysch. Saturraran Beach is one of the most beautiful in Gipuzkoa, the Seven Beaches area is a succession of wild and sour caleros and the beach of Mutriku, near the port, is more urban. Very close to the port you will find another distinctive element of Mutriku: two natural swimming pools of Olympic size that fill thanks to the tides. But the holidays in Mutriku are more than just monuments and nature.
